To the Street Sounds family,

Firstly, we want to say thank you for your support. We know many of you were expecting the launch of our new merchandise today and after several delays, we appreciate that this latest update will be disappointing. We also feel that you deserve a genuine explanation.

When we first decided to create our new range of Street Sounds Gear, we made a commitment to ourselves that we would not produce just another standard t-shirt. We wanted to create something that reflected the quality and heritage of the music and culture that inspired it.

What many people don't realise is that we have spent months searching for the right manufacturing partner. During that process, we commissioned and reviewed samples from 27 different companies before finally selecting the manufacturer we felt could deliver the premium quality these shirts deserve. That level of care and attention has been applied throughout this project, and we believe the finished products justify that effort.

The two shirts in question — the ELECTRO T-shirt, Edition 4 [Album Covers] and the Street Sounds CLASSIC T-shirt, Edition 3 are ready and they are coming!

However, over the past few weeks we have received literally hundreds of emails from many of you asking when these releases would become available. The volume of enquiries has far exceeded anything we anticipated and made it clear that demand is significantly higher than our original manufacturing forecasts.

Simply put, we underestimated just how popular these shirts would be.

Faced with that situation, we had two choices. We could launch immediately with the stock levels originally planned, knowing that a relatively small number of customers would secure a shirt while many others would be left waiting up to three additional weeks for additional stock to be manufactured. Or we could postpone the launch one final time, increase production and give as many people as possible a fair opportunity to purchase when the collection goes live.

After a great deal of discussion, we decided the second option was the right thing to do.

We appreciate that patience has been asked of you more than once already, and for that we sincerely apologise. However, we believe this decision is fairer to everyone who has supported the project and waited for these releases.

The enthusiasm and love surrounding these shirts has genuinely exceeded our expectations and we are incredibly grateful for every email, message and expression of support we have received.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding and your continued support. We promise that the wait is nearly over, and we look forward to sharing the confirmed launch date with you very soon.
